Incentive Art Days

Incentive Art Days are a partnership between After School Arts at Enlgewood and Garfield Elementary School in the Yakima School District. Twice a year, Kids with perfect attendance and perfect behavior in school come to Englewood Christian Church and make art. We bring local artistis to create and teach an art lesson both during the Holidays and on Cinco de Mayo. Manytimes the art supplies are donated by the PEO Yakima Chapter which encourages academic excelence by students in the Yakima Schools. Students also decorate cookies. This fun day away from school doing art is a great incentive for acheivement for Garfield kids.
